IJPP cards work on all train station stops, but if you did not purchase one, then you can also buy tickets manually.
If you are buying a ticket manually, make sure to buy it using a Railroad cash register.
By not using railroad cash register and buying it on the train, you will be charged an extra 5€ by the train employee.
